As per the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998, it is the duty of landlords to ensure that gas appliances, flues and fittings provided to the tenants are safe to use. It is also mandatory to perform gas safety checks within 12 months of the installation of a new flue or appliance. Annual reminders are sent out automatically by email 6 weeks in advance of the renewal date so you will never miss another annual inspection.
